Addition! 3 bedroom apartment in Old Town Funchal, Madeira: |
 |
 |
Madeira
Apartment, 3 bedroom self-catering apartment, Old Town Funchal
The
apartment is facing south, the sea. However, between the apartment and
the garden of Almirante Reis, there is the Rua Santa Maria, one of the
oldest streets in the city. The building is modern, but the apartment
is comfortable and classically decorated, there are even some tables from
the 16th century. You first enter a hall, from
where you can reach the fully equipped kitchen with oven, microwave oven
a combo fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. You have a table with seating
for 6. From the hall you also get into the lounge with sofas and
dining table. Outside this room there is a long but narrow veranda. You
can put chairs there but there is unfortunately no space for a table. |

| Alentejo,
Portugal |
Vast
golden plains, medieval castles and golden beaches... To the northeast
are the beautiful villages and towns which make up the so-called Rota dos
Castelos (Castle Route): Nisa, Castelo de Vide, Marvão, Portalegre
and Alter do Chão. Further south, the landscape becomes warmer and
flatter; around Évora (one of the most beautiful towns in Portugal),
are Monsaraz, Vila Viçosa, Estremoz, and Arraiolos (renowned for
its hand made tapestries, based on traditional drawings from the 17th and
18th centuries). Discover Alentejo |
| The
Algarve, Portugal |
 Situated
on the extreme South of Portugal, this part of the territory was the last
to be conquered from the Moors by the Portuguese king in 1292. Traces of
the Moorish presence are still seen in its unique architecture - terraces,
chimneys and whitewashed houses. Sunshine all year around, and gorgeous
beaches, make the Algarve an ideal holiday destination for everyone. Discover

| Azores
Islands, Portugal |
The
Azores (Portuguese: Açores) are an archipelago of Portuguese islands
in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, about 1,500 km from Lisbon and about
3,900 km from the east coast of North America. The nine Azorean Islands
extend for more than 600 km, and lie in a northwest-southeast direction.

| Beiras,
Centro de Portugal |
This
region is made up of two contrasting areas. The extensive beaches and fishing
villages lie along the coast, while in the interior the mountains dominate
the landscape. “Beiras” is the traditional name of a region running
south of Douro river and north of Tagus river. The region is one of deep
contrasts: the Atlantic coastline, where a temperate climate, white sandy
beaches and the Atlantic pine forests are typical, and the interior where
more forbidding mountains and rocks set the tone. Discover
Beiras. |
| Lisboa
e Vale do Tejo |
These
are few more immediately likeable capitals than LISBON (Lisboa). A lively
and varied place, it remains in some ways curiously provincial, rooted
as much in the 1920s as the 2000s. Pre-World War I wooden trams clank up
outrageous gradients, past mosaic pavements and Art Nouveau cafés,
and the medieval, village-like quarter of Alfama which hangs below the
city's São Jorge castle.... Discover
Lisbon and Lisboa region. |
| Madeira
Islands, Portugal |
Situated
in the Atlantic ocean, about 350 miles west of Morocco, Africa, the archipelago
of the Madeira Islands is a popular year-round resort. Discovered in the
15th Century, the islands are known worldwide for Madeira wine, temperate
climate, rugged scenery and beautiful flowers. Discover
Madeira. |
| Porto
e Norte, Portugal |
The
natural beauty of Portugal’s oldest region forms the backdrop for this
proud and traditional land. The Douro River and the Port producing
regions are astounding in their beauty... The Douro river is the
longest in northern Portugal. It winds its way past mountains and cliffs
until it reaches the Atlantic near the city of Porto. Discover
