One of the many advantages of Vila Castelo is its proximity to the beach, restaurants and shops meaning that a hire car is by no means essential. On arrival at Faro airport you will be met by our private chauffeur and driven directly to Vila Castelo, thus avoiding the confusion and queues for coaches and hire cars.

The south facing townhouses are two and three bedroom properties built on two levels. The open plan dining and living areas open out onto a beautiful balcony where you can watch the world sail by. The bedrooms are mostly all en-suite with the master bedroom opening on to its own private sun terrace.

Built at the top of the resort overlooking the roof tops with panoramic views to the casle and sea.  Designed similar to the townhouses but on three levels with an additional lounge on the upper level leading to a large sun terrace.  Here you can relax in private on your sun bed or dine outside whilst enjoying the fabulous views. 

Air-conditioning provides an escape for the summer whilst the heating offers winter comfort. Cable TV is fitted to all Penthouses. The penthouses are beautifully furnished to a luxury standard.

Villas:

These select properties occupy the front line positions at Vila Castelo overlooking the beach and castle. The villas are four and five bedroom properties all with private, heated pools.

Air conditioning and heating is fitted throughout the properties and each is finished to the highest of standards. The villas also benefit from satellite television.

In addition to your own pool, the main pool is available to guests where you can enjoy a cooling drink or a light lunch at the poolside bar.

Situated along the coastline, the charming village of Ferragudo remains unspoilt, by-passed by the development of commercial tourism, this picturesque village has retained its character and traditional values.
